I make your surfboard completely by hand. I do every stage of the
process: Shaping, glassing, sanding, and making the fins, Shortboards,
Single Fins, Twin Fins, Quads, Bonzers, Longboards you name it i can, or have made it.
Craftmanship, quality and eye catching artwork are hallmarks of my work, All of my
shapes are designed with a specific purpose--to have as much fun on the wave as possible.

Behind the mask
Cosmic Crafts Surfboards was born from a desire to make fun, aesthetically pleasing surfboards that are built to last.
The interest in making surfboards arose in my late teens from intrigue, functionality and the need to constantly replace and refine my equipment to compete on the junior pro amateur competitions throughout Australia
My shaping inspirations include Mark Richards, Matt "mayhem" Biolis, George Greenough and Ian Byrne to name a few.
I also draw inspiration from the local areas, surf folklore and people, I'm fortunate enough to call the region of Byron Bay home and am grateful for the diverse range of wave types to test and refine my shapes and designs
I have been making surfboards for over 15 years now and have developed my skills and knowledge encompassing shaping, laminating, sanding, polishing and producing fins under the tutelage of shapers and laminators throughout Australia,
All surfboards are handcrafted from start to finish by me ensuring that the highest quality materials and workmanship produce the best possible outcome resulting in a surfboard master piece.
